Laurence Carmichael begins European Cycle Challenge

Laurence Carmichael today began her challenge to cycle through three European Cities for charity.
Leaving East London this morning, Laurence will be cycling between 60 and 100 miles a day on a 317 mile journey through the South East of England, the Netherlands and Belgium, taking in Amsterdam and Brussels where the journey is due to finish on Sunday, 4th September.
Laurence will be one of 27 individuals?undertaking the challenge which involves a large number of people from Gloucestershire with the others coming from other parts of the country.
All those taking part are members of Team GP, a group that fundraises for Action Medical Research who support research into diseases afflicting babies and children. Team GP has raised over £35,000 in the last two years.
