Gloucestershire First launches superfast broadband surveys

The local enterprise partnership for the Constituency, Gloucestershire First, has begun its effort to demonstrate that public demand exists to upgrade our local communications infrastructure to support a comprehensive superfast broadband service.

In a conference attended by a whole host of stakeholders in Stroud in September organised by Neil Carmichael, the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt, advised those who attended that in order for the local community to gain state support and funds sufficient public demand and support will be required to make it a worthwhile investment.

Therefore it is of the utmost importance that as many local people as possible answer the household and commercial surveys being carried out by Gloucestershire First, it takes only a few minutes and no personal or contact details need to be given.
