Cam and Dursley
Alongside me, as your MP, there are a number of other elected officials that are able to provide help and support.
You may find it useful to look at the Where I Live page on the County Council's website to find out who your local councillor is.
In many cases, they will be better placed than I am to provide support and information on matters relating to the County Council and the District Council such as planning. If you enter your post code the page will provide a range of information on who your local councillor is, where the nearest medical facilities are and lots more.
Festival: Rednock Schools commitment to the Festival of Manufacturing and Engineering

13 February 2012 at 15:14
“The school has a strong history of supporting engineering as it has worked promoting STEM initiatives as part of the Science College specialism. Rednock is proud to support the Festival of Manufacturing and Engineering and host the Meccano Scrap Heap Challenge.”
It is always fantastic to work with engineers from local firms on real projects that hopefully produce real results. Not only does it take the students out of the classroom environment, but also brings the subject alive through the passion and dedication of all concerned. By experiencing modern cutting edge industrial practice learners can see the theory first hand and understand the results of their team design. How better to champion engineering than through competition.
Rednock students are fortunate to be at the cutting edge of technology with the new build and innovative learning spaces. The Faraday room with its intuitive technology and the ability to engage a whole class in learning through application is a marvellous resource. The Design Technology department are keen to work with engineering companies and related industries to give students a taste of the real world and experience the importance of careful craft in producing meaningful resources.
